Wasps host Bristol Bears in the final game of the development league season this weekend as part of the Big Swarm. The home side head into the final round of games just one point behind the league leaders, and will want to keep the pressure on by securing maximum points.

The development side has had an incredible season, winning 15 games and losing only two and have picked up wins against every team in the league. In their last two fixtures they put in a very impressive performance against a strong Loughborough Lightning side, before an empathic second half display saw off Gloucester-Hartpury last weekend.

The hosts have made four changes to the starting line-up from the side that put seven tries past Gloucester-Hartpury. In the forwards Danielle Harrison and Esteria Hiwaizi earn places in the starting line-up after both featuring on the bench last weekend.

The final changes in the forward pack sees the youngest Wasp, Maud Muir, start in the backrow alongside Nic Smith who earned her 100th cap last weekend.

There is just one change in the backline as Sammy Graham (Sponsored by European Astrotech) starts at outside centre, with Katie Mason (Sponsored by Lions Sports Academy & Snap Sponsorship) moving to full-back and Rose Dixon onto the wing.

Bristol are in sixth position in the development league with 11 wins so far this season. Wasps came out on top earlier in the season when they travelled to Bristol, winning 32-12.

The afternoon promises to be filled with action on and off the pitch. The Big Swarm is an event for all the family, with three top quality games of rugby at Twyford Avenue, a fan village with a number of fantastic options for food, a player Q&A post-game, live band and bar open throughout the day.

You can be part of this fantastic occasion, with the rugby starting at 13:00, and the development side kicking off at 13:30. Tickets are available in advance and on the gate for just £5, with U16s going free.
