Wasps II humbled by Quintin

Wasps II suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of a strengthened home team at Quintin RFC on Saturday.

17 points down at half-way, there was still a chance to make-up the deficit in the second half. However, a few more tries were leaked, and the home side played with their tails-up. Most tries came from Quintin's fast and powerful centre.

Of the few positives was the last 20 minutes. Wasps battled till the end and scored. A few more tries might have come, but it was too little too late.

This has to be a wake-up call for the second team. They have coasted through the season so far, but away teams are wising-up.
