Wasps FC Ladies are excited to be able to officially announce the title sponsor of the inaugural RFU league to begin in September, as Tyrrells and will officially be called Tyrrells Premier 15s.

The new league is a major development in Women's Rugby through which we will have the opportunity to develop professionally, not just in our game on the pitch but also off and operationally as a club.

When asked about the new league Kasey Allen, Wasps FC Ladies Chairwoman, said “It is fantastic to have Tyrrells named as a title sponsor for the league for three years. This in addition to the newly created Premier 15s specific media channels and the commencement of the league straight after the Women’s World Cup will increase the following of the Women’s game to a new level and really put English Women’s Rugby on the map globally.”

Following the rigorous selection process earlier this year, the 10 club league will begin in just under 6 weeks’ time where Wasps FC Ladies will take on Harlequins at home in the first game of the season.

After a varied preseason of both on and off pitch training, including a trip to the alps and team building days, the team is certainly excited to get underway and compete in the league.
