After a two-week break in competition, the Swarm are back on the field and set to face Richmond Women for the final rotation of the first half of Tyrrell’s Premier 15’s. The fixture will be the first Tyrrell Premier 15’s to be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

Wasps FC Ladies last took to the field to face Worcester Valkyries, which winger, Amy Atkinson, cross the white wash 4 times and the Swarm take their 4th consecutive win. Rocky Clark, Kate Hallett, Abby Dow and Rachel Parry (sponsored by EP Ceramics) also made their mark on the try line, the final score set at 51-5.

This week we welcome back Vicki Jackson, Tova Derk and Claire Purdy following their run out at the prestigious Barbarians game against Munster. We also see the return of the Red Roses following their performances in the Old Mutual Wealth series against Canada. We see Danielle Waterman (Sponsored Europa Group Ltd.) at fullback and Abby Dow back on the wing after making her England debut and scoring a total of 5 tries throughout the series. We also see Justine Lucas return from injury and join fellow Roses Rocky Clarke and Amy Cokayne to make up the front row.

In 1987 Richmond Women and Wasps FC Ladies made history in the first Women’s game to be played at Twickenham, this weekend sees the two teams at it again in the first live broadcast of Tyrrells Premier 15s. With a strong team, Wasps FC Ladies are raring to take to the pitch for what should be an exciting game!
