Six Nations Championship 2022 International Ticket Ballot

Six Nations Championship 2022 International Ticket Ballot

Dom Benson6 Oct 2021 - 07:24

The ballot for the 2022 Six Nations games at Twickenham is now open, exclusively for eligible members of the Club.

  • England v Wales, Saturday 26 February, 4.45pm, Twickenham

  • England v Ireland, Saturday 12 March, 4.45pm, Twickenham

Eligible members are invited to apply for tickets for the 2022 Six Nations Championship matches at Twickenham. Eligible members are those adults who are fully paid-up voting members of the Club for season 2021/22. Please note payment of youth or mini subs does not confer voting nor ticket rights.

Ticket availability has become more difficult over recent years as supply has fallen short of demand for tickets. No allocation per match will exceed two tickets, thus whilst you are entitled to apply for both matches at present, please do not request more than two tickets per match. Should demand greatly exceed availability, a ballot will be conducted.

Please complete the attached application form below and send it by post or by email as soon as possible to Andrew Richmond. No payment is required at this stage.

NEW ENTRY PROCEDURE TO TWICKENHAM STADIUM

Entry to Twickenham Stadium has become digital; no paper tickets will be issued. With the new electronic entry all applicants will require a smart phone, with the Twickenham Stadium app, and possibly the NHS Covid app. The allocation process will be conducted by the Club with successful applicants being contacted by the RFU via email. Thereafter, you will have 48 hours to pay for your tickets which will be transferred to the Twickenham stadium app.

Entry to the stadium will be processed via the app on your mobile phone. The RFU has trialled electronic entry on previous occasions and is confident that stadium capacity attendance will not be problematic. The RFU will provide information and support throughout the process; it is anticipated a user guide will be made available, but for now please see this link for a video guide to the app: https://help.englandrugby.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360002993277-How-do-I-get-my-mobile-ticket-

Ticket usage – The RFU has issued a lengthy document to all Clubs regarding the proper use of international tickets and the imposition of sanctions should any ticket allocated to the Club fall into the hands of speculators. The Club fully endorses the RFU approach and the following represents an extract from the terms and conditions imposed by RFU –

1. tickets allocated are for personal use only – to include family and friends
2. tickets provided must not be sold or advertised for sale by any mechanism
3. tickets should be not posted on any social media sites

Closing date for applications – 15 October 2021; please do not delay. Please direct all queries on international tickets to adr400@hotmail.com.
