It is with great sadness that we learned of the sudden passing of Moise Drigui on 27 February 2024.
Moise was a member of the Mens Vets Team, a dynamic and powerful Prop who gave his all on the field, he was a great rugby player a warrior, he scrummed hard, ran straight, tackled hard and never took a backward step which earned him the nickname of Baby Rhino.
His teammates past and present from around the world, all in disbelief on hearing of his passing described him as:
Off the field he will be remembered for his happiest outlook in life, for being an amazing father and for his infectious laugh that would often turn into a giggle.
Moise is survived by his wife Muriel, Daughter Olivia and two Sons, Abel and Isaia.
The funeral will take place at 12:15 on the 26th March at the Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, 9 Crescent Gardens, London, SW19 8AJ.
An organised bus will depart the Church at 14:00 to Wandsworth Cemetery, 32 Magdalen Road, London, SW18 3ER.
A gathering at the Wandle Pub, 332 Garratt Lane, London, SW18 4EJ will commence at 15:30.
