Wasps Women are excited to kick off the Allianz Premier 15s competition and welcome spectators back to Twyford avenue for the first game of the 2021/22 season.

This weekend sees Wasps face London rivals Saracen's in what promises to be a thrilling opener! Last season saw the two teams battle it out each taking the victory on their home turf, but after a preseason of hard work and new players in the mix, a clean slate is drawn.

Mather has named her side for the opening game and amongst the squad of 23 are two former Saracens players joining the black and gold family- Bryony Cleall will start in the front row and Kay Searcy as a replacement forward.

Also new to the team and coming in as replacement scrum half is Tess Braunerova who joins Wasps from Harlequins.

After returning from injury to put on a great performance in the preseason warm up against Exeter Chiefs, Heather Kerr makes is set to start in the front row.

Also returning to the Allianz Premier 15s stage are Louise Dodd and Carys Williams who will make up your centre pairing.
