A foundation building season

End of Season Report
This weekend marks the end of the 2014/15 season for the U14’s and here are a few highlights form the 37 weeks of training, games and tour.
We end the season with 50 players in our squad having welcomed many newcomers form other clubs and some boys who are new to the game. 34 of those players have played in the A’s, 40 players have represented the B's
The A’s ended up 4th in Division 2 with the most bonus points in the whole league, 11 points clear of the 5th place.
The B’s finished 5th in division 5 and only two points behind 3rd and 4th having only lost to clubs that provided their A teams.

Awards and Recognitions
This years awards were given to the following;

A's
Player of the Year - Jordan Cordice
Most improved - Harry O’Connor
Players Player - Ashraf Ezzat

B's
Player of the Year - Nathan Baccetti
Most improved - Leo Simonovski 
Players Player - Matthieu Duarte

Special Recognition was given to the following players;
Gus Baker - despite unable to play a single game due to injury at the beginning of the season he has been present every Sunday possible either helping in the shop, coaching the younger age groups or running the line for our home games.
Antonn Mathieu is the only player to have started every game for the B’s and has consistently improved throughout the season.

The ‘Honours Tie’ is awarded for a Committed contribution to the club - Alex Pleasants has proven in his first season to be a reliable and hard working player. He has shown great attitude in training and sportsmanship on the field ,and successfully made his way into the Middlesex squad and Wasps Academy.

Three of our players have been selected for the Middlesex County Squad this season
Ashraf Ezzat, Kai Logunleko and Theo Such
A further seven boys represented the county and earned their county tie;
Ossama Aslam, Elliott Brewer, Jordan Cordice, Jamie Dunbar, Jamal Omene Stewart, Mark Hughes and Alex Pleasants
The following boys were also selected for the Wasps Academy, Ashraf Ezzat, Ossama Aslam, Jordan Cordice, Jamie Dunbar, Jamal Omene Stewart, Mark Hughes and Alex Pleasants.

Thank you always to the parents, coaches and support team for making this such a great season, we have built and strengthened a great squad which I believe will provide us with even greater success for the club next season.

See you all in 15 weeks for pre season training!
