Wasps Women’s 1st XV produced an impressive comeback away at Barnes RFC, turning a 22–7 half-time deficit into a 27-31 victory to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.

With plenty of ground to make up after the opening half, Wasps responded in style, scoring 24 points after the break while restricting the hosts to just five. The turnaround secured a hard-earned four-point winning margin.

Naomi Palmer led the scoring with a hat-trick, while Laura Dolan and Kate Aldridge each crossed the line to complete Wasps’ five-try tally.

Noemie Chevrier was named Player of the Match, with Lydia Hume taking Forward of the Match and Laura Wilcock earning Back of the Match.

The result makes it three wins from three for Wasps, placing them second in the table on 14 points. A fantastic team effort and a comeback to be proud of!
