A squad of 20 Players turned out at TA on a Breezey Sunday to defend their 100% league record.

After an early try from Teddington the Killer B's woke up 5 minutes in to the game and started to pick up the pace. The forwards began to work the ball down the field and eventually passing out to Joseph Rigal, who once in his stride was unstoppable and ran over under the posts in reply. Harry Bird converted to give Wasps a 7-5 lead.

With Teddington under strength in the pack a joint decision was made to have uncontested scrums, however as a team they still were very clinical in the breakdowns and managed to win a fair amount of turn over ball edging closer and closer to our try line.

In-discipline in the breakdowns, gave away some pointless penalties that allowed Teddington to feed their Number 8 to drive through and score their second try.

At one point there was doubt if we would beat Teddington, but the boys started to pick up their game with the forwards driving up field with close support play to run in a number of tries.

Will Jones went over in a great Solo Effort on the stroke of 1/2 time to claim the 4th Try Bonus point. Sadly Will was injuryed in the grounding and could play no further part in the game.

In the end Wasps ran away with it the score 63-22 with a handful of tries from Joseph Rigal and Sam Cunningham with a fine hat trick and a well deserved "Man of the Match" award, leading the pack and later the side.

Boyan Cecaric using his size and strength, effectively broke through the opposition lines to score another.

Harry Bird as always did a sterling job as kicker converting a high percent of the kicks. It was good to see the forwards peeling off from breakdowns with close supporting play, popping passes up to each other to run in many of the tries today. Strong Running from Guy Macdonald, George Bridgewater & Raphael Picard all contributed to the performance. Tancrede Harel showed well as a utlity play with a spin in the backs as well as the pack. Sean Hyland, John Garner & Jack Hardwidge perform well in the front row union

Our offensive play was outstanding, unfortunately our defensive is still lacking.

Over the last two weeks a major weakness in the B's game has been the overall tackling in the squad and this week we asked the boys to make a big effort in picking up on this with an award for best tackler. Whilst many commited themselves to taking on the opposition, we still need to make a huge improvement in this area, especially getting lower down in the tackle.

Several boys that did tackle well the ball carrier down, Magnus and Gautier were highlighted for their contribution in making a number of tough tackles and Magnus awarded "tackler of the match".
