U16s Impress on League 1 Debut -- report by Mark Katz

We played our first game in the top division and played the league champions from last year. The result was a highly creditable 20-32 defeat.
We were expecting to be given a stiff welcome to the top flight and instead put in a sterling performance (6 tries to 4).
We bonus pointed and the game was an even contest throughout.
The boys played with determination and skill and we posted this result (albeit a loss) with 5 of our regular first team – first pick players unavailable through injury or personal commitments
All the lads did the club proud!
