Following on from the success of the U14 Boys tournament starting last year the Middlesex cup returned with even more teams and a new format in 2026.

The Finals day which was held on the 19th April 2026 and hosted at Saracens Amateurs RFC.

The cup included 16 teams from Middlesex competing for 4 competitions:

The Middlesex Champions Cup
The Middlesex County Cup
The Middlesex Shield
The Middlesex Plate

Leading up to Finals Day, there have been 3 rounds of matches. The purpose of these rounds, and the league results, is to try and group teams together for finals day so that we have the 4 strongest in the Champions Cup, the next 4 strongest in the County Cup, etc. following qualifying we were placed in the County Cup.

After close wins again Hampstead 10-7 and Saracens 14 -5 on the day Wasps were crowned County Cup Champions for the first time.

It took a full squad effort to overcome two tough competitors. With a huge amount of grit and determination on show. Thank you to the whole U15s squad for a fantastic season and all working so hard in the Herts league and winning this Middlesex Cup. A big thank you to all the parents for the season long support. This was a fantastic way to cap off a very successful season.
