It is with deep regret that the club must share the sad news of the recent passing of a former full-back and England international, Tony Jorden at the age of 76, on 20th October.

Tony's daughter, Beth, has been in contact with Chris Braithwaite to pass on the sad news and Beth wrote, 'My father coached the Wasps, along with Rob Smith, in the early 1990's. I believe this coincided with your early days at the club. I think I recall you were on the St Jean de Luz tour that my brother and I joined with Dad. The Wasps community was an important part of his life'.

Tony was capped seven times for England some of which were while he was at Cambridge University where he was also a cricket Blue and as a cricketer featured for Essex from 1966-70.

The thoughts and condolences of everyone associated with Wasps are with Beth and family at this sad time.
