We looked like a pretty good team at times, and if weâ€™re all firing at the same time, weâ€™ll be a tough side to beat this year. Maintaining our club in the present league is a minimum goal for the season.

This Saturday we host Uxbridge second string at home. Kick-off at 2.30. The level of rugby will be lower than last week and it will be a good run-out for our seconds. All those who didnâ€™t play last week will be first on the team sheet this week.

At present, we have 45 players registered for our two teams this year. When you take into account injuries, hangovers, international matches, swine flu and other absences that is still a bit light for the season, so if you have mates whoâ€™d like to play for us, let us know. Thereâ€™s plenty of Ex-wasps who are ready to fill in the gaps if we need it, but a tight squad is best for everyone.
