Four Wasps Ladies will be in action during the Internationals during November for England & Ireland.

Four Wasps Ladies will be in action during the Internationals during November. Claudia Macdonald and Abby Dow have both been named in the England squad this morning. While Claire Molloy and Cliodhna Moloney are both in the Ireland squad for their two test matches.

Claudia Macdonald is one of seven uncapped players named by Red Roses head coach Simon Middleton in the 28-player squad. Her impressive start to her Wasps career in the Tyrrell’s Premier 15s season has earned her the opportunity to win her first cap for England.

Abby Dow returns to the Red Roses senior squad, having toured with the development side in August. She already has five caps to her name, and, having started the domestic season in fine form, she’ll be relishing the opportunity to show what she can do during the November tests.

Experienced international Claire Molloy looks set to add to her 63 caps, including appearances at three Rugby World Cups, captaining the side in 2017. Claire has enjoyed an outstanding start to the season in black and gold, having scored four tries in her opening two fixtures.

Cliodhna Moloney made her international debut against England back in 2015, and has since picked up 18 caps, including appearing at the previous Rugby World Cup hosted in Ireland. Having signed for Wasps in the summer, she is likely to make her debut this weekend, having been kept out so far through injury.

Ireland will play two fixtures during November. The first at Energia Park against USA on Sunday 18th November, before playing England at Twickenham on Saturday 24th November.

England will host three tests across the Quilter Internationals. They too will play USA at Allianz Park on Friday 9th November, before travelling to Castle Park to play Canada on Sunday 18th November. The final test against Ireland on Saturday 24th November will follow England men’s fixture against Australia. You can watch all of the Red Roses matches live on Sky Sports.
