A great day for both representative Wasps teams. The B team in their first contact match together, played great, which included a runaway 5-1 victory in their opening game. We also managed to hold the strong Old Albanians to a draw in the final game which could have gone our way. The marauding mauler, Charlotte Buckley and bruising tackler Ben Carter, two of the outstanding performers on the day.

The A team played with power, pace and a great deal of guille to reach the finals of the A tournament,only to lose out to a well drilled Old Albanians. The run to the final included a well deserved victory over our hosts, a testament to all the hard work they have put in over the last few weeks.

Highlight of the day was a power tackle by Oliver Peters whose early tackle turned defense into attack, from which Gabriel Hartwill scored.

A big thank you to all the supporters whose encouragement was definately an advantage for us.
