After securing in a 3rd place finish in the Tyrrells Premier 15s League, Wasps FC Ladies find themselves taking on Harlequins in two Play-off rounds in the fight for a place in the Final. This Saturday sees the first of two rounds on home turf at Twyford Avenue.

Since the start of 2018, Wasps FC Ladies have remained unbeaten on home turf. In fact, their only loss on home turf was to Harlequins in the first game of the season back in September in a close battle ending 32-38. Since, the team has made massive progress with results to show for it, not least, their triumphant win that ended Saracens unbeaten streak back in January.

Mather’s team to face Harlequins in this first round, is much the same as the strong side that recently beat Firwood Waterloo 0-34. Two changes- returning from Sweden, we welcome back Tova Derk on the wing and Hannah West takes the starting shirt at 1.

Having marked their territory at Twyford Avenue since their last encounter with Harlequins, the team are ready to take them on for the third time! Armed with a sting in their tail- its set to be a stunner of a game.
